Iraq: blunt statistics

These diagrams are a touch small to read as part of this post but click on each graph and you'll be able to review the presentation in all its detail. The graphs are:
  • US military deaths in Iraq's quagmire
  • Deaths of US soldiers after "mission accomplished" was announced early in 2003

The present US military death rate is two per day. The Iraqis haven't been so fortunate -- they're dying at the rate of 100 per day.
If you are so ghoulish that you want to be a statistician for the Middle East , the deaths in Lebanon are recorded here: but that's not registering the ongoing slaughter in Gaza.
