Lebanon civilian deaths morally not same as terror victims

John Bolton --US ambassador to the UN -- offers his opinion on Israeli "excursions" in Lebanon and their unfortunate collateral consequences.

ME: Funny that. "Excursion" is such a pleasant word, makes one think of a Sunday picnic.
"The Israelis are now picnicking in Southern Lebanon much to the consternation of the locals..."
So much better than "invasion", don't you think? But note how the media is describing the Israeli invasion of Gaza and the Israeli invasion of Southern Lebanon. Above is a snapshot
of the event. That's the Jordan River in the background.
Anyway, back to Bolton...

JOHN BOLTON:"I think it would be a mistake to ascribe moral equivalence to civilians who die as the direct result of malicious terrorist acts...It's simply not the same thing to say that it's the same act to deliberately target innocent civilians, to desire their deaths, to fire rockets and use explosive devices or kidnapping versus the sad and highly unfortunate consequences of self-defense.
