SLIDESHOW:100,00 march in London against war

ITEM:Today's London protest against Blair's policy in the Lebanon was MASSIVE, despite being ignored by ITN's early evening news and receiving only the most perfunctory of mentions on BBC TV.
I suppose it wasn't considered TOPICAL, eh?
I'd say 100,000 easily. I was about half way along the march and when I got to Parliament Square they were still leaving Hyde Park. The rest of my party gave up on Piccadilly and retreated indoors for refreshment. They watched as thousands marched by and never saw the end of the march. I didn't wait to listen to any speeches, I was knackered, so I went home.
